About This Tool

Look, I get it. You’ve got a website, and you’re tired of guessing whether your hosting is actually up, fast, or just quietly dying in a server closet somewhere. That’s where Hosting Checker comes in. It’s not fancy. It’s not trying to sell you a subscription or upsell you on “premium insights.” It’s just a simple tool that tells you what’s going on with your site’s hosting—right now.

I built this because I was sick of clients asking, “Is it down for everyone or just me?” and having to manually ping servers or dig through logs. Now? I just paste the URL and get a straight answer. No fluff. No nonsense.

Key Features

  • Checks if your site is online or offline—fast.
  • Tells you which server your site is hosted on, including the provider (like AWS, Bluehost, or some random VPS in Lithuania).
  • Shows response time so you can tell if your site’s crawling or actually performing.
  • Detects common hosting issues—like misconfigured DNS, expired SSL, or that one time you forgot to renew the domain.
  • Works with any domain. Doesn’t matter if it’s .com, .io, or .pizza. If it resolves, we’ll check it.
  • No signup. No tracking. No “free trial” that turns into a $99/month bill. Just paste and go.

FAQ

Q: Does this work for sites behind Cloudflare or other CDNs?
A: Yeah, mostly. It’ll tell you the CDN is up, but the origin server might be hiding. If your site loads, we’ll report it as online—even if the real server’s on fire. For deeper checks, you’ll still need server access.

Q: Why doesn’t it show more details, like PHP version or database status?
A: Because that’s not what this tool is for. If you need that level of detail, log into your hosting panel or use a proper monitoring service. This is just for the basics—like whether your site’s actually reachable or not.
