Month Calculator
Find the number of months between two dates — fast, easy, and accurate.
About This Tool
So, you need to figure out how many months are between two dates? Yeah, I’ve been there. Maybe you’re tracking a project timeline, calculating loan payments, or just trying to remember how long it’s been since that weird phase you went through (we’ve all had one). Whatever the reason, a month calculator can save you from doing mental gymnastics or pulling out a calendar and counting on your fingers. This tool isn’t flashy. It doesn’t have animations or a slick interface that makes you feel like you’re launching a rocket. It just takes two dates and tells you the number of months—and sometimes days—between them. Simple. Honest. No nonsense. I built this because I kept forgetting how many months were left until my car insurance renewed. Again. Instead of checking my email every week, I wanted something I could trust. So here we are.Key Features
- Enter any two dates—past, present, or future—and get the exact number of months between them.
- Shows partial months too, so if it’s 3 months and 12 days, you’ll see that.
- Works across years. Whether it’s January 2020 to August 2026 or next Tuesday to next Christmas, it handles it.
- No login. No tracking. No “premium upgrade” pop-ups. Just type and go.
- Mobile-friendly. Because let’s be real, you’re probably checking this on your phone while waiting in line somewhere.
- Free. Always. No hidden fees, no “support us” nags. It’s just here.
FAQ
Does it count partial months?
Yep. If you pick January 15 and March 10, it’ll show 1 month and 23 days (or whatever the actual math works out to). It doesn’t round up or down—just gives you the real difference.
What if I pick the same date twice?
Then it’ll tell you zero months. Shocking, I know. But hey, sometimes you just need confirmation that yes, today is today.
